Dial- Up Networking
Step 1(Installing New Connection):
1. Double Click the "My Computer" Icon.
2. Double Click the "Dial-Up Networking" Icon.
3. Double Click the "Make New Connection" Icon.
4. In the field asking for the connection name, enter At Connex Inc.
5. Click on Next.
6. DO NOT enter anything in the areacode box.
7. In the field prompting for the telephone number, enter the local telephone number for your area:
8. Click on Next.
9. Click on Finish.
Step 2 (Configuring):
1. Double Click the "My Computer" Icon.
2. Double Click the "Dial-Up Networking" Icon.
3. Right Click Once on the "At Connex" Icon.
4. Click on Properties.
5. Look towards the middle of the window . . .
Please make sure that you DO NOT have a "check" in the box.
6. Please click on the Server Types tab at the top of the window.
7. Change the settings as shown below:
8. Please click on OK at the bottom of every window.
Your Dial-up Networking is now configured!
